We’re excited to announce that Cobalt Aerospace is a finalist at the FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards.

It’s been a fantastic start to the year already. In January, we received news that we’ve been shortlisted in two categories at the Broadland and South Norfolk Business Awards 2020. And we’ve just heard from the lovely people at the FSB (the Federation for Small Businesses) that we’ve been selected as finalists in the East of England for the International Business of the Year award, alongside two other fantastic companies from the region.

The FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards aim to celebrate the contribution that small businesses (companies with up to 250 employees) make to the UK. Entries are split into regions, with the winners from each region invited to the UK final later in the year.

The International Business of the Year accolade is awarded to a business that can demonstrate how working internationally has benefited their business profitability, growth and strategy. It recognises innovative approaches to establishing business links in international markets and celebrates successful international performance.

We’re really proud of our roots as a start-up; we’ve worked really hard to build Cobalt Aerospace and been rewarded for our efforts (Cobalt Spectrum LED mood lighting is flying on many of the world’s flag carrier airlines). As a “small business” with big ideas, we’ve been able to establish a fantastic culture, work ethic and product standard that has grown with us. We’re committed to exceptional design, detail and quality, which are reflected in our in-house manufacturing and quality control processes that ensure each product that leaves our headquarters is the best it can possibly be. We’re a tight-knit team, passionate about making a difference to the aircraft interiors industry, and we’re thrilled that the FSB is helping us to celebrate that.
